Amazing! Anyone who has tried to do stop motion knows how many hours and watermelons it took to make this.


The design of the watermelon will make you smile. It's a master of his craft uses his skills on watermelons... and he make it work.

I really like the look. Keeping the gray, black and white pallette really helps tell the tale of a young boy being harrassed by the wind. If it was brightly colored I don't think it would work as well.


The story is told without words. But it is easy to understand what is going on (and possibly relate depending on how your childhood went.)


Overall it is a well crafted piece both stylewise and storywise.
